Samu-el Lodge Bed & Breakfast “…step into tranquillity…”
This in period Cape Dutch styled house of 1892, nestled in
the foothills of Lions Head, and the Table mountain backdrop
(the Plato of Hoeri Kwaggo(mountain in the sea),” the shrine where our ancestors
worshipped “Tikgwa” the One universal God).
It offers a five bed roomed living experience with a sumptuous
breakfast. (continental, farm style or health)
It is in this enclave where the Khoi-Khoi resided on arrival of
the first setllers at the Cape of Good Hope (Cabo De Boa Esperanca)
This tranquil setting of the leafy suburb of Tamboerskloof (the
valley of tambourines) borders on The Cape Peninsula National Park
with its small game, indigenous to the area.
Our Guest House owned and managed by descendants of the Khoi-Khoi,
is a uniquely in period, neatly restored accommodation. It has its
original teak and Oregon pine windows and doors and neatly gleamed
Oregon pine flooring. Picture rails and skirting and architrave as
well as original fireplaces in two rooms.
